Personality: Young and naive this girl is ready to become a marine and save the people from evil bandits and pirates. She also has a dislike from violence, preferring to solve disputes diplomatically. That said, when in danger she's usually swift to defend herself or her comrades. She's loyal both to those she considers her friends, her superiors and to her idea of 'moral justice'.
She's dedicated to her way and will out of her way to do good. Whether this means to help an old lady cross the street, apprehend criminals or just patrolling the island she's stationed. She's not afraid to jump in the action when she's not on duty either. Her willingness is to do good is easily manipulated by those with less than honest intentions especially from other marines, who she generally trust by default. As a doctor, she would heal anyone unless it would be a threat to her or her comrades.
She likes to walk around whatever island she is stationed and prefers to eat out than actually cook herself. Her hobbies are dancing and perfectionist her martial arts, which is mostly based around hitting weak points in ones body to disable and even damage them. For most less martial people this process can easily look like some dance as well.
She does not mind a sparing match, but dislike physical conflict, but will not actively avoid it if doing so would potentially endanger others. Elise generally trust other marines, but has little respect for those that harm civilians or bring them in danger.

History: Her mother was a rather successful captain of the marines. She eventually fell in love with a weird doctor on Karate island, who mostly used his body to cure his clients. messages usually, but he also had a few other techniques that put them his clients back on track. He also had poultices and other conventional medicine, but much less than what you would expect from a doctor. Most people didn't believe in his work. They met when her mother had to arrest the man for deceiving the people, but she fell on the way to him resulting in a sprained ankle. When the doctor healed the captain she decided to return without arresting him and explain what happened. Eventually they ended up married.
Elise's mother learned her how to fight and sail hoping her daughter would follow her path. Her father thought her everything he knew about his art. She quickly grew into a straightforward young woman with a strong sense of justice. As such, she enlisted with the marines immediately when she was of age. Marines actually wasn't that easy for her at first. She was trained to fight, but didn't have the discipline and was prone to "play the hero". Acts which often got her in trouble with local officers. It did make her more popular with the people and some of the lower rank marines. This is not to say she ignored orders, she's just a little to happy to help people when there is no need to do so.
Combat: Her combat style is based around hitting opponents in critical locations to disable or hurt them. Against most human opponents she will gun for those, otherwise she'll first try to find those.
