Clothing/Accessories: Mostly a quite variable array of black shirts regardless of sleeve length, whether or not they contain a hood or not, with an undershirt underneath. Changes between pants and shorts, but most of the time the fabric is blue jean/denim. Shoes change mostly dependent on days or places.
General Appearance:
With red hair that seldom hinders his sight during a windy day, you can't entirely tell that the guy has quite the pale skin tone. While in a crowded area, he's got the whole "Where's Waldo?" factor going on, but you don't want to find him cause of how bright he is and then there's the crazed goofy grin that erupts on his face when you make eye contact. If one were to guess, then yes, hes probably as dumb as they both look. (Referring to Eugene and person thinking he's as dumb as he looks.) He's been slowly trying to grow a beard to help with his looks.
Standing at a slightly above average height, Eugene appears out of place as he is quite skinny. Despite having some muscle definition, sometimes hidden by his forearm hair, should one ever see his bare arms, he doesn't look as though he could pack a punch, maybe a punchline, but not a potentially harmful punch. In cold weather his hands grow from pale to purple in a matter of short time when not wearing gloves. He has no chest hair and should he not be wearing shirts, you'd want to be wearing something to save your eyes from his bright pale chest, but he's almost always wearing an undershirt, so you're safe.
With the majority of his clothing, he comes off as someone who doesn't fit most scenarios and looks like a scrub. Whether he's wearing pants or shorts, they cover most of his legs and are a bit loose-fitting as to not confine his movements and give him some form of insulation. The same could be said for his shirts and jackets which don't always fit the setting, often getting the "You're making me hot/cold" remarks from females whether it really is hot or cold in the room. People seldom suggest he dress the part, despite looking fairly dashing in said clothing, he feels a bit stiff and uncomfortable.

Eugene's a goofball, plain and simple, to be honest. Most often absent-minded from concepts he doesn't initially fancy, he does try to keep an open ear in case of some valuable education. When he doesn't enjoy something at all, he just scoffs and brushes it off of his mind.
When it comes to his abilities, he's skeptical despite constantly trying to prove himself otherwise. Every now and then he finds himself asking a question he should already know the answer to, but finds comfort in someone informing him whether he's doing the task at hand correctly or if he isn't, correcting him with how it should be done the right way. It's one of the main reasons he doesn't outright go out of his way to try and be a cook because he is often intimidated by failure and the unpleasant reactions of other people. Should one be positively encouraging or give constructive criticism in a well-behaved manner, Eugene will take it to heart and give a better effort to try again as opposed to being scolded without explanation. To be fair, would you?
On the outside, Eugene tends to have a habit of laughing stuff off, whether it's a slight problem or trying to make light of a misfortune. Some times he's able to pop out a witty retort only to be received with sighs, groans and people shaking their heads at him. Fortunately his sense of humor isn't taken too seriously else he'd be in a lot of trouble. Often he's friendly, shows amusement and/or interest on a good day, yet has problems letting people know he's having a problem until he goes on a sarcastic rant and it just comes off as people thinking it's an elaborate joke and laugh.

Eugene was born as a twin by a single mother, or so he vaguely remembers. He didn't really get a chance to meet his father when he was little and his sister doesn't remember their dad much either. When asked about him, their mom shrugged and dismissed their inquiries... Especially when it came to how they could afford most of the things in their life without much trouble or their mom hardly ever leaving.
Growing up with his twin sister was a real pain especially as he got the odd man out treatment, sometimes literally. Bath time seemed shorter for him and chores seemed more stressful as they slowly piled up on him like his laundry. That wasn't really his fault neither. Despite having chores done and having free time to do stuff, Eugene hadn't really made any friends while his sister seemingly always had it easier with chores, friends and what ever social outings. For some reason he could never fathom what made it seem like his mother becoming distant from him. There were days where he just accepted it and stayed to his own devices... and there were days where he would be up at night silently getting chores done just to sleep in the next day and ignored his family's existence altogether.
Outside of family issues, Eugene hardly attended church, not that his family did either, but they were mostly in moderate standings with the town as to not evoke the church's wrath. Sure, church activities were always in season, Eugene was eager early on to participate, but slowly grew weary. People started to question him about it, but he would do his best to put their worries and activities aside stating he would get around to charities and only show up some of the time. How bothersome.
There was a breaking point after Eugene became the age of an adult and decided he needed to get out and try to do something different with his life. He wanted to become a bit more responsible and decided to confront his mother about it. She basically told him he'd more or less have to leave if he wanted to look for work if he wasn't gonna help out with the Illusia Church activities who then scoffed and laughed when he wanted to learn how to cook. Had his mom not been more favoring of his sister, he'd be more eager to learn under her and her cooking was pretty good.
Due to not being active around town and not on his mom's favorable side, it wasn't easy for Eugene to look for work. It's not like he actually badmouthed church, mostly for his mother's sake, but it just got boring after a while. He didn't have quite enough skill to work as a cook yet, however he would've been more than happy to wash dishes while learning how a kitchen worked outside of a home, yet nobody really wanted to take him in. Thus Eugene went down towards the docks in hopes of finding a new path in life before he could ultimately move on.
Combat: Eugene tries not to combat if he can help it, but his main agenda in fighting is mostly punching and kicking. Despite violent thoughts, he never really follows through on it all.
