General Appearance: Scorp is a dude of average height, with a mysterious, laid-back expression on his face most of the time. He has a muscular build and yellow, slanted eyes with hair that points all over the place, as well as large rounded ears. An almost constant shadow is cast over his eyes at all times for some strange reason. He wears white gloves as well when not in combat. Weirdly, he was born with a strange pink mark on his chest resembling the shape of a star. He used this as a basis for his newly founded crew's name.
Personality: Scorp is a laid back, chill dude with nothing better to do than to sail the seven seas, causing a ruckus wherever the wind takes him. He doesn't get stressed easily, and can usually break down any situation he's in relatively calmly. Though, when he does get mad he can become a little bit brutal, going out of his way to be excessive with the damage he can do. He can be very blunt, which can get him into some troubling situations. He likes to remain positive and actively seeks out the most interesting course of action in whatever he does.
He doesn't have anyone in particular that he cares about and doesn't bond normally with people (though that could change with the addition of new members to his crew). He has no aspirations other than to travel and see what sort of weird shenanigans he can come up with along the way.
Hometown: Loguetown, East Blue
History: Scorp was born in a little old town named Loguetown and lived there for a majority of his life. His mother died in childbirth and his father was a marine, killed in the line of duty when Scorp was just 9 years old. He grew up an orphan and quickly learned how to fend for himself. He became a thief to survive and hid in the countless alleys of Loguetown to escape from pursuing Marines.
In time, Scorp grew to enjoy the "thrill of the chase" and begun to seek out new ways to entertain himself. His endeavors grew larger and larger in scale with each subsequent way he found to enjoy himself until eventually, He brought the chase to the marines.
Through his many adventures as a thief, he had acquired a weird power to glow (probably from some weird fruit he'd eaten) and he decided to see how he could use it to inspire a chase. So one dim morning, he strolled on up to a small marine galley (whose crew was off resting on the mainland) and stole it. Of course, it wasn't fun without the chase, so Scorp gave off a bright glow, waking quite a few people up and alerting them to the fact that one of their ships had drifted off. They attempted to give chase, but by then Scorp was long gone.
It occurred to Scorp sometime later that he had just inadvertently become a pirate, and that he had actually stolen a registered marine vessel, so he decided to just embrace the title of pirate and took to refitting the ship.
And so, the Pink Star Pirates and the pirate captain Scorp Tavian was born...
