Let's pretend that Kaido being an actual animal won't be the WOAT thing (I'd much rather he have a DF but that doesn't matter). Please humor me for a moment. Are you speculating that
• Kaido is a distant relative of Minks. As we have not seen a reptilian Mink, his introduction could be a means to introduce that classification of race.
• Kaido is an actual Dragon. A mere animal dictated by his reptilian urges. Eat, Sleep, Fuck, Repeat. However, he harbors a great vitality. As Dragons as so often known to possess and somewhere along the line, he ate a fruit which gives him the ability to reason, speak and interact.
• Kaido is an actual Dragon. A primordial creature in OP bearing supernatural properties. Highly intelligent, durable, capable. His inherent nature as with Dragons allows him the ability to shapeshift. He possessed no devil fruit and is another one of those OP mysteries. If we can have the fountain of youth wouldn't be a stretch to have a specialized Dragon.
