General Appearance: Slim and pale, he looks sick. His face shows dry and cracked lips and the skin around his eyes is wrinkly and dull because of his constant lack of sleep. He has one small scar on his right eye and another one on the left side of his lip. To sum up, he does not seems trustworthy or could inspire pity.
Personality: Due to his past, he has low self-esteem and he's easily afraid (for now). He also complies rapidly to orders. He always carries the guilt of killing his father and letting his mother die. Sometimes he's submerged by depression and, at other times he really want to help others, in order to redeem his sins. He has problems interacting with others but in the end he believes in the motto of the Marine. He really wants to protect other people.
Hometown: A random island on East Blue.
History: As far as he remembers, his father was beating him and his mother everyday. Drunk or not, important subject or not, it didn't matter. He was strong and was highly regarded on the island. After all, everyone believes a member of the clergy. So, when the mass ended, it was time for Zack and his mother to serve him the best they could. They had to comply to every order or else he would have beaten them one after the other while, in the meantime, forcing them to watch.
To hide what was going on and what he did to them, Zack's father forbid them to go to the village. They had to go to the forest, hunting and scavenging to find what they needed while he could buy whatever he wanted and sadistically show them afterwards. For example, he ate slowly and made them smell delicious treats or meats.
And every day felt like an eternal renewal. It was like surviving in hell. One day, however, the father was so drunk that he began to use a shard of glass to disfigure then beat up his wife. Zack, who was upstairs, was alerted by the screams. When he discovered the scene he was horrified by what he had witnessed. This was already a nightmare but, his mother was the only thing in it that kept him going. He wanted to do something, retaliate, but he was still unable to move. How could he stand up against this powerful man ? He began to cry and tried to say something but his tears were in the way. In complete distress he finally tried something when a pool of blood surrounded the body of his mother. He tried to take an other shard on the floor, but when he stood up, his father was already in front of him. The man readied his fist but his punch was rendered useless. Suddenly, Zack's body divided himself in multiple round parts, flying everywhere !
As confused as his father, the young boy took advantage of the situation. He tried his best to throw parts of himself at him. He didn't know why or how but it worked a little too well. The shard he had in one of his hands stabbed the abusive parent on the back of it's neck. It was too late. Too late for him and for his mother. He managed to reassemble his body but he didn't even think to flee, having lost the only thing in his life that could made him smile, so he waited.
The next morning we was found by the town's folks, themselves looking for the priest. Immediatly, he told them what happened and he was held accountable for what he had done. He had a trial on another island but he managed to convince the judges. Moved by his story and his will to make up for his mistakes, Zack was to become a Marine. Since then, he aims to make up for his sins.
Combat: Zack can't fight very well, He began to learn when he was recruited. So, fisrt, he'll try to use is gun then his ball finger to topple his opponent. Eventually, if he doesn't suceed, he'll be hit and his fruit will activate. Then he'll try his best to hit him with parts of his body before reassembling it.
