”Kanjaku Mo”:

Personality: Kanjaku has a fervent sense of justice, believing that the world needs to have a balance in order to maintain its sanity. Rather your good or bad, doesn’t mean much to Kanjaku, it’s how good and how bad you are. If you’re a criminal that needs to steal to survive then to Kanjaku you’re not evil, thus he won’t see fit to pursue justice for your actions. This is because the world is not all good, sometimes it requires you to do bad things for the greater good. However, if you’re a murderer, there’s no greater mortal sin and it must be extinguished with equal force. Kanjaku himself believes that murder is only necessary when someone is evil enough to commit such an action.

He seeks the truth, and by seeking the truth sometimes he too has to break the rules to find it. He isn’t against breaking the law to achieve his goals. In fact, he believes some laws are stupid and shouldn’t exist in the first place. There’s only three major laws he doesn’t condone, rape, murder, and kidnapping. Under murder there’s the context that any violent action that is an attempt of murder is under the umbrella of murder, thus a crime to him. Under rape, there are smaller crimes like forcing people to give up what they don’t want to give up, like blackmail or extortion. Under kidnapping is also trafficking, enslaving, and repressing a person’s free-will.

The government is even guilty of some of these crimes, and Kanjaku knows this, he is different from a normal marine. He is open-minded in his truth seeking. His ultimate dream is to reveal the ultimate truths behind the government’s crimes against humanity. To do that he must become one of them, infiltrate it and discover what secrets hide behind the scenes that is the world government.



Hometown: A small village on Swallow Island

History: When Kanjaku was eight years old he ate a mystical zoan fruit called the Tori Tori no Mi. It allowed him to transform into a mythical bird called the Stymphalian. Growing up with this power Kanjaku was grown to enjoy being able to fly, it gave up a sense of freedom that most wouldn’t be able to know in their lifetime. With this sense of freedom he was able to open his eyes to the full picture. He grew up liking what some pirates stood for and what some marines stood for. He heard stories of secret weapons that the government had ceased and heard of an ancient island of knowledge destroyed by the government. Why did the government destroy knowledge? Were they hiding something? Most of these were rumors, but Mo took these as truths and started to develop a dream to recover knowledge for all people.

At twelve years of age he join the village Dojo and started to learn how to fight, he told his teacher he wanted to learn how to use his feet and legs more. His teacher obeyed this request teaching young Mo several basic techniques with his feet and how to fight against various opponents that used swords and guns with ones feet and legs.

At eighteen Mo has chosen to join the Marines and climb the ranks as high as he could to learn the secrets kept from the people of the world.


Combat: Using his legs and devil fruit abilities Kanjaku doesn’t seek to kill his opponent, but knock them out or slow them down (potentially sink them into the ground) and apprehend them for questioning to find out what their true crime is and judge if they really should be caught or not. He may release certain criminals that he doesn’t deem evil. His tactics are to use his speed and powers to overcome the obstacles that arise in combat. Mo is a non-lethal combatant.

Devil Fruit Ability: Whoever eats this fruit gains the ability to transform into a medium-sized vulture with a razor-sharp bronze-like beak and claws. It is also covered in equally sharp metallic feathers which it can launch towards its opponents. Moreover, the metal feathers will over time wilt and melt into puddles of highly toxic quagmires, sinking anyone foolish enough to step on them. The toxin in the quagmire is so lethal that once it soaks into the soil nothing can grow on it anymore and on human skin, it can infect the wounds caused by the feathers. As a bird zoan, it also gains the ability of flight.
