Typically, Adam wears what one would normally be considered a "school uniform":
General Appearance:
Clearly young in appearance -and in general- Adam is fairly short for an eighteen-year-old-young man; barely hitting 5'9" in overall height, but he is the kind of person who has a personality to make up for it. He is very slim and slender, his body weighing scarcely more than about one-hundred and fifteen pounds and he wears it well, mainly due to his age -or approximate age at least, physically and literally- and he takes the cake as the 'young guy with a scary hidden-power' thing above nearly any other contender. He is lithely muscled though from constantly working in a forge, and quite strong indeed although this may not be redolently obvious to others. In short he's basically just a short guy; smaller than his eighteen years really should be, but when one is to feel his arm- or leg-muscles they would be able to tell how much more power is within this tiny frame than it appears. Of course when he walks or moves or anything there isn't a hint of that, he flitters and flies about like some kind of fairy or something, leaping and jumping and moving all the time. He moves, really, like a small child, always full of energy and bouncing around, and it's pretty hard to get him to stop moving once he starts.
He is quite pale overall in terms of his skin colour, his colouration is quite white but clearly asian overall, with a sallowness and an olive-tone underneath the paleness that shows his background. On the other hand he lacks the strange turn of an eyelid so he is clearly not wholly asian-like in origin, maybe half at most, and his skin is slightly too pale, maybe a shade or two, to really be purely of a single race. He is relatively unmarked over his entire body for a smith, he gets the usual scrapes and bruises and burns and whatnot but overall he is completely clean of permanent injuries. He is fairly hairless too -more so than he should be- and all so he has literally no arm or leg hair, a genetic abnormality it may be but he finds it quite helpful, there are no errant hairs to poke through uncomfortable places or the like and to avoid being singed off at a fire. Young he may be, but he's a fairly feminine-esque guy, at least on the surface.
His hair is his favourite feature frankly, his hair is black, pitch and deep like the very depths of night and styled in various ways depending on the mood and situation itself. Adam is not above taking a few moments to compose himself, to alter his hair however he sees fit. It is middlingly long, falling to about his shoulders in length at the back and sides and with a small fringe at the front that falls just above his eyes but is often spiked upwards so it doesn't obscure his vision at all. His eyes as well are a large, bright blue in colour with a shine behind them of happiness and a happy-go-lucky nature that people question if it is actually fairly off the mark...
Personality:
Adam is a strange individual, he is literally always seen with a smile on his face, a smile that doesn't vanish even if he is asleep or knocked out or even injured. It seems, on the surface, that what he wants the most out of life is to have as much fun as he possibly can before he dies, because he spends all of his time looking for something to have fun with. In fact he is a very charming individual, one whom can befriend and get to know nearly anyone he encounters even in a casual meeting. His charisma is unchartable, he often makes the joke that he tried to measure it on a machine once and the machine exploded as it couldn't contain it. One might call him hyperactive, one would be correct, for he is always up and moving and on the go, the only time he's ever able to contain himself and calm down fully is when he is at his smithy, working with metals.
However much Adam is well-liked by everyone he meets he is also a loner at heart, a pariah in fact as he is a self-made outcast, ostracising himself from individuals and groups whenever he is able to. When it comes to others though his ultimate thinking is that they are expendable, since if he could honestly find someone to be friends with legitimately and maybe find somewhere that would accept him for who he truly is then he would deeply, truly be happy and maybe his attitude towards others would change. However he would never admit that this is a thing that would make him happy to anyone - even himself. He has somehow managed to convince himself that he is happy as a self-made loner but deep within his unconscious he is nothing more than a sad little boy who is crying alone in a corner and wishing someone, somewhere would like him for who he is. Also he's an exceptionally smooth liar, able to do it to anyone -with two exceptions- and in any situation to either get himself into or out of trouble.
As both a loner and a charismatic individual it makes it difficult for other people to understand him, something the boy prefers more than anything else, especially considering his past. A large part of his soothing and active charismatic exterior is a mask to keep the pain in his heart hidden for as long as possible; he is very much someone who would rather make everyone else happy and laugh than himself, even if his own doing so often causes others to do as well. Considering his past he hates having to endanger others, and as a result he is a little hard to get close to no matter how charming he may appear on the surface. He does have an easy smile, and an easy laugh, but he is also highly easily violent, capable of killing without a second thought or any hesitation with his anchor or with his bare hands if it came down to it. These things are not things he does without thinking of course, and since he is usually so upbeat and active and talkative it is often not something one considers as likely at all from the skinny guy blacksmith.
In fact, the past at all is a very difficult subject to bring up around Adam, he has grown exceptionally skilled at deflecting such inquiries or questions and if he gets pushed about such things he will show off his usually hidden temper, becoming capable of actually getting mad at someone. On any other subject Adam is incapable of true anger, though mock irritation and raising his voice are common if he is truly irritated, but anger? Never. When he does truly get angry as well there are only two real ways to calm him down, one of which is the end result if he remains angry. The only ways to calm Adam down when he is angry are either to leave him alone and let him smith something to achieve his zen once more, or to let his anger run its course. In which case he'll kill someone, but he'll still calm down.
But despite all of this inner torment, despite all of the problems that live deep within his body and the fact he is so very much negative concerning his past - Adam remains positive on the outside. He is always smiling and always joking and happy and playful and he in fact tries to be friends with everyone he meets, or at least he pretends to. Above and beyond that he spends all of his time doing things that make him happy and smile and everything he does makes him want to make others happy and smile, so he is in fact quite selfless in that way. But ultimately he is selfish because everything he does is about excelling himself and making everyone like him, no matter how he does it as long as he ends up positively at the end then everything is ok.

History:
Combat:
Combat for Adam is a funny thing, he doesn't particularly like it but he is particularly good at it, especially the general kind of brawling nature of combat for most pirates and seafarers in the world. He is very adept at thinking on his feet, making use of his environment a lot more than most people would and there is nothing that he considers "underhanded" when it comes to a fight. Sand in the eyes, a kick in the dick, punching an unconscious man in the face - everything is fair game when lives are on the line. His preferred personal style doesn't use so much as elegance as it does brutality - his signature weapon is one of beating someone to a bloody pulp more than carving them into sushi, and as a result his fighting reflects this, whether he uses it or not. He also is not above simply running away from a fight he cannot win - honour in combat is a foolish thing for foolish people and if you don't live to tell the tale about something what's the point?
Weaponry:
Adam's only weaponry consists of an anchor that he made himself, forged originally as a joke present for a person who wanted to sail away on a small dinghy without one, the anchor itself weighs nowhere near as much as a typical anchor does however it is still extremely heavy and requires significant strength to weild with any deftness whatsoever. Measuring approximately 5' from tip to tip and constructed from a specially green-dyed iron, the anchor weighs approximately 75lbs and looks quite similar to this.
Items:
Adam's inventory consists of a small set of smithing tools - two hammers of different size and shape (one clawed, one without), two sets of tongs (one long handled, one shorter but with wider blades) and a small portable anvil, bellows and forge base that allows him to smith on the go as necessary. He also has a chisel and a shaping blade with him in the tool set for the same purpose. These tools are never used for combat. He also carries a length of rope on his belt at all times, approximately 3m in length and of a very fine spun cord, as well as a small water canteen (approx. ~1L in volume).

History:
- A Summary of the Life of Adam Kadere:
- Adam Kadere did not have what anyone would consider an "easy" upbringing, especially not anyone who would otherwise consider themselves well adjusted. Born Jo-ar Hadnan Addam Kadere he was the youngest of four sons and three daughters to the illustrious Vivien and Baldus Kadere, an artist and her merchant 'lord' husband who dwelled all throughout the Blues as they raised their veritable brood of children. They were of course far too busy to raise their newest child -who was some 6 years younger than the closest of his siblings in age- and so left such a task to the other children, to Jo-ar's initial and permanent deficit.
The elder children you see had all learned quite quickly that only one of them would be the ones to take a piece of their parents fortunes in the future once they retired or passed away. Fortunately they had not quite resorted to killing each other yet, and even the newborn Jo-ar was spared such a fate at sea as they continued in their treks to all the various lands around the world. However death was likely a better escape for the newborn once he began to develop, being beaten and kicked repeatedly by his various brothers and sisters as he grew and developed over the next few years. He was whipped on his back, though the scars didn't take. He was striped on his feet when he ran on the deck, though again no permanent injury came about. He was used as a personal punching bag for his eldest sisters, though over time these beatings began to grow less as their own interests grew more.
By the age of five he had showed a keen interest in the workings of metal and the ways that the guards his father and mother hired used their weapons. He had no personal interest in using the weapons you see, he was more interested in how they were made for at his core he was a curious boy who wanted to know more about everything. However he had learned to temper his curiosity with external meekness around those who were his family and, as a result, he began stockpiling knowledge as much as he could. More time passed as he grew on the road and aboard his families ship and, against his parents wishes but behind their backs, he began to learn about the crafting and making of things - though not the lovely airy things his mother made but practical, real things.
When they reached the South Blue for the third time of Jo-ar's life, at the age of nine he jumped ship on the shores of the island of the Briss Kingdom, fleeing from those who sought him for months in the streets as his parents sought for him. They did not seek him out of love of course but out of obligation - even the lowest of their children was one of their children and had to be kept safe as such, but they could not find him no matter how long they looked. Eventually they gave up the search and considered him dead, not even contemplating the idea that he may have, perhaps, changed his name and gone onto the street to try and find his own way.
Well that was exactly what he had done - he took the name of simply "Adam" for a time (adding his own last name once he confirmed with his own eyes that his parents ship had indeed sailed away some five months after he had jumped ship) and found his way to the local smiths of the island, spending so much time around them as an addition to their work spaces and storefronts that over time they simply came to adopt him as one of their own. He lived on the streets and stole what he had to to survive, adapting a far happier persona as time went on and he was taught by the large burly men how to mould, shape and weld metals in various ways. He learned more than this however, he learned carpentry and cooping, he learned how to carve and cook and all manner of worthwhile skills over his time, eventually realising that this place was his true home and this was the best place for him.
By the time he had turned 18 he had honed his skills in a number of ways, becoming a recognised master smith in his own right despite his own oddities, and their were a few. But now that he had grown he began to have a type of wonderlust grow in his body, the urge to get out there and travel once more filled him, to see the world as he had done (sort of) as a child. His friends, the other blacksmiths, encouraged him to fulfill his dreams to head out and travel once again, however he pointed out he had 1) no ship and 2) his funds were limited. So for now he is content staying where he is until something comes along and brings him further along in his goals.
